Boom Lifts - Telescopic

Building today’s modern high-rise office or apartment buildings would not be possible without the extensive use of Crane equipment. Telescopic crane equipment consists of different sized “pipes” or “tubes”, also called “Telescopic Boom Lifts ”, with the smaller tubes inside the larger ones is often found on boom trucks. These booms are then extended and retracted by a hydraulic pump.

Telescopic cranes using hexagonal booms are stronger than those cranes with cylindrical booms. Additionally, hexagonal booms minimize much of the side to side movement and boom flex associated with telescopic cranes using cylindrical booms.
